I wanted to cut her hair for the summer to make it easier to manage. It won't be as hot for her and with all the time she is spending in the pool it is going to be less work to dry it and comb it out. Hannah was completely on board with the idea so that was great.
I made Hannah an appointment at the salon where I get my hair done. She was really excited to go there and I was happy with how well she listened and how still she sat. I told Hannah that if she moved around too much she would get a mohawk!
My hair stylist Paul cut Hannah's hair and he was great with her. Hannah was talking his ear off and he got such a kick out of her conversation. After he was done he put sparkles in her hair and she was walking around swishing her hair back and forth like a shampoo commercial!

I think she looks so cute :-) Paul told her that she looks like she is 4 now. Hannah said "Paul! I am not four until August 1st!"

Here is another conversation with Hannah today that I wanted to share....
We were driving home with the radio on and the person on the radio was talking about an upcoming concert in Victoria.
Hannah: Mommy they just said Victoria's name on the radio!
Hannah: Mommy they just said Victoria's name on the radio!
Me: They did say 'Victoria' didn't they. But they are talking about the city Victoria.
Hannah: Huh?
Me: Victoria is a city. You know how we live in Langley, Papa and Buggy live in Surrey and GG lives in Chilliwack? Well some people live in a place named Victoria.
(Hannah is quiet for a minute and then she looks over at Victoria with big eyes)
Hannah (whispering): In her tummy??
I couldn't help but laugh... we have some friends who are pregnant right now with babies 'living in their tummies' and apparently Hannah got a bit confused!

One more picture to share... Rebecca and Natalie were here yesterday and while I was making lunch I asked Dave to keep them out of the kitchen. I think it is bad trying to make meals with 2 kids hanging out in the kitchen but it is even worse with 4 of them hanging around my feet.
So Dave took them in the playroom and read them a story.... apparently he is quite a captivating storyteller!
