I know... I know... I know... I haven't blogged in over a week. But I have good reason :-) Rhonda and I flew down to California for 5 days to surprise Christy for her birthday!! We had been planning it for 6 weeks and did a fantastic job at keeping it a secret. It was really hard to not even blog about it!!
Last Friday morning Rhonda and I drove down to Seattle and then flew to LA. Christy's husband Jeff was in on our surprise and he picked us up at the airport and helped us show up unexpectedly :-) Great job Jeff!!
So Friday evening we just rang Christy's doorbell and she was SO shocked! After a few tears and lots of hugs we all had a great time celebrating Christy's birthday and Thanksgiving Canadian style down in Southern California. The weather was fantastic... you all know how I LOVE the sun! I even got a bit of a tan going on :-)
I just got home this evening and I am just exhausted so I will be posting pictures (lots of them!) and details of my California adventure soon. So stay tuned....
