Hannah found a snail outside today and she wanted to keep it. Dave gave her a jar and punched some air holes in the lid (thanks alot). She filled the jar with rocks, leaves, twigs and grass and now she has a pet snail. She has named it 'Snailbecca'... I think she has named it after her friend Rebecca (Rebecca should be flattered).
What the heck do you feed a snail? I have to google that now... I guess we have to try and keep Snailbecca alive for at least a few days!

"In the wild, snails eat a variety of different foods. Some species can cause damage to agricultural crops and garden plants, and are therefore often regarded as pests."
"Snails are a delicacy in French cuisine, where they are called escargot. In an English-language menu, escargot is generally reserved for snails prepared with traditional French recipes (served in the shell with a garlic and parsley butter)."
