The weather cleared up just in time... it was raining during our drive into Vancouver but by the time we got there it had stopped. It was actually a nice day to be at the amusement park - not too hot and not too cold.
Hannah and Tysen rode lots of rides all day long... I wish I had their energy. I couldn't really go on any rides because of my hand but Dave took Victoria on the little helicopter ride which she seemed to really enjoy... she was laughing and smiling the whole time.
This year Hannah was just barely tall enough to ride a few more rides than last year... last year she was very upset that she couldn't go on some of the rides she wanted to. Her favourites this year were The Helicopter ride, The Giant Slide, The Kettle Creek Mine Roller Coaster and The Scrambler. She is a thrill seeker and this time she was upset because they wouldn't let her go on The Pirate Ship. She really enjoyed having Tysen to ride with her too... those two kids are two peas in a pod. There was a really great photo of Hannah and Tysen on the Roller Coaster that we bought from the photography booth at Playland... Hannah had both of her arms in the air while riding down the hill!
On the way home we took the kids to Red Robin for dinner. Victoria ate more than Hannah and Tysen combined... I think she has a hollow leg that she is filling with food! Hannah and Tysen shared a sundae for desert to end their date before we dropped Tysen back off at home.
What a long day... I am exhausted! Apparently Hannah and Victoria were exhausted too... they both fell asleep in the van on the way home :)
Oh and I just uploaded these pictures of Hannah and Victoria getting their faces painted at Paige's Birthday a couple weeks ago... I forgot all about it in my drugged up stupor :) Hannah wanted her face painted like a black and white doggie and she chose a purple and white horse for Victoria's face. Happy Birthday Paige... a couple weeks late!

Hannah makes a cute puppy. It would have been a hoot to see Dave's face painted.
Oooh, I haven't gone to Playland in 2 or 3 years....me thinks it's time to go again.
