Preparing for Preschool... already!

Did you know that you have to register your child a year ahead of time for preschool??? Tonight was the online registration for Wind and Tide Preschool and I was one of those crazy mom's who was waiting online at 10pm when they started accepting registrations :) I had a small panic attack at 10pm when the web site's registration page wouldn't load up and was displaying page errors! I was able to finally get through after 10 minutes of refreshing the browser and I did manage to get Hannah's info sent through. I got an e-mail from the preschool apologising for the delays (apparently they had such a huge amount of requests to their website that it caused the problem). They have received Hannah's registration application and I won't find out until the first week in December whether or not she gets a spot in the class for next fall.

Oh the suspense!

I really hope she gets in... this preschool is really highly recommended and one of the 17 locations is at Langley Meadows Elementary School right in our neighbourhood. So if Hannah gets in then we can just walk over there and it will be a nice transition for her when she goes to Kindergarten because it is all at the same place.

Another great benefit is that this preschool also has 'sibling preference' which means that Victoria will be able to get in without having to wait list. By the time Hannah finishes 2 years of preschool and starts Kindergarten Victoria will be the right age to start, so essentially she will just take over Hannah's spot in the class. Good timing :)

So keep your fingers crossed for Hannah that she gets in!
