We had such a nice visit with our family in Ponoka :) Jaden and Logan were so great with Hannah and Victoria... they kept them entertained and the girls really enjoyed spending time with them. Aunty Sherry got her baby cuddling fix... Victoria was happy to oblige :) Uncle Les thinks he has magic baby sleeping power because Victoria fell asleep on his chest one night (and she puked on him!). Brit came by for supper last night and she got in some cuddles with the girls too :)
Jaden and Logan have a couple of pet bunnies and Uncle Les brought one of them in the house for Hannah to play with. She was pretty interested in the bunny and did well at petting gently.
Hannah and Victoria were pretty well behaved while we were there (I think!) Hannah did break one of Aunty Sherry's ceramic ornaments... oops. But overall I think they are allowed to come back :)
Uncle Les gave us a ride to the airport last night... in the police van...Nice! Poor Hannah and Victoria looked like criminals riding in the back :) Hannah liked the lights and siren... and you get to the airport quicker and get parking at the front door when you have a police escort;)
I'm so glad they all got a chance to see Victoria while she is still a baby which was a big part of the reason why we went. Travelling on an airplane with 2 small children was a bit challenging, but both girls did really well and it was well worth it to get to see everyone again! I just wish they weren't so far away :(
As you can see in this lovely picture of us at the WestJet counter last night... I am so tired! Our flight was delayed half an hour so we didn't get home until almost midnight. When I told Hannah our flight was delayed she said she had to 'make a phone call' :)
