Hannah's lucky shot...

On Friday night we went out for dinner with my Dad, my brother Brad and his girlfriend Kara. Dave was working his last day of afternoons and my Mom was also working so they weren't able to join us. Hannah didn't have a tantrum in the restaurant... Yay! She did however put her sleeve in her ketchup and stain her new shirt.

After dinner when we were back at my parent's place Hannah and Uncle Brad were playing... Hannah was getting pretty hyped up. Uncle Brad kept tossing a stuffed ball at Hannah and trying to get her to catch it, then he bounced it off her head a couple times which she thought was funny. Hannah then grabbed one of my Mom's hard round candles (that look like balls) off the coffee table and she threw it at Uncle Brad. Hannah had some good aim because she beaned Uncle Brad right on the forehead above his eye!! Uncle Brad ended up with a nice red mark and a bump on his forehead! I did make Hannah say she was sorry to him, but it was kind of a little bit funny :) I e-mailed him today to see how he was and he said he still has the red mark but he thinks he'll live. I wonder if he will tell his friends he got beaten up by a 2 year old??

Today our friends Tanya and Jeff came over with their two boys Tysen and Joshua. We had a BBQ and Tysen and Hannah ran around the yard like wild animals and had a great time chasing bubbles and playing with Pistol. Joshua is big enough to go in our baby swing on the playground and he was all smiles :) Victoria bounced from one person's lap to another all night long. Hannah really needs to figure out that she shouldn't walk in front of people on the swing... she got hit the the head a couple times and knocked over. Maybe it was karma coming back at her for whacking Uncle Brad in the head last night???

I'm glad we were able to eat outside and enjoy some of this nice September weather we are having... but it is really starting to cool off at night so you can tell fall is quickly approaching!
