CoCo & Rollie

Last night we went to visit our friends Mike and Crystl and their dogs CoCo and Rollie. CoCo and Rollie are brother and sister, but you would never guess that as they look so different from each other! Hannah had a fun time playing with the dogs... she really liked it when she got them to chase her :) She gave the dogs lots of treats and both dogs were very good at taking the food out of her hand. Hannah is a good kid for them to socialize with because she is not afraid of big dogs and has no problem bossing them around. She kept both dogs in check all night telling them 'No bark!', 'Doggie go outside!' and my personal favourite 'NO Hannah's crayon!' (when Rollie tried to make a snack out of her crayon).

I thought I was so organized before we left packing PJ's, snacks, drinks etc. but then I forgot Hannah's booster seat and Victoria's bouncy chair... oops! Hannah ended up sitting on a pile of telephone books which worked just as well :) After dinner we walked over to the playground at the school near Mike and Crystl's house where Hannah got to play and go down a really big slide, Victoria hung out in the snugli and CoCo and Rollie got to run around the field.

I did remember to pack Hannah's favourite movie... Shrek... which we all watched after we got back from the playground. Hannah stayed up for the whole movie, we left at around 10pm and she crashed in the car on the way home. Both girls slept in this morning until almost 10am which was a nice treat for Dave and I!!

Victoria has got thumb sucking down to a fine art now... no more rooting around trying to get the thumb in her mouth. I had to trim her fingernails yesterday because she keeps scratching her nose while she is sucking her thumb! Hannah thinks it is funny that Victoria sucks her thumb... now if I could just convince Hannah that only babies do it then maybe she will stop soon!
